Brunswick Heads is a trendy little town just 10 minutes North of Byron Bay with a population of around 1800 people.

The Brunswick River is the heart of Brunswick Heads. It has a commercial fishing harbour and co-op making seafood plentiful. Recreational fishing is one of Brunswick's favourite past times with snapper, mackeral and kingifsh caught on the reef outside the heads and flathead, bream and whiting caught in the river.

Brunswick Heads also has great surfing beaches with its own surf life saving club and coastal patrol tower.

Brunswick Heads has some nice parks and reserves along its river side. It also has one of the best pubs in the area with live entertainment most nights. The town has lots of small shops and cafes along its main street and is a great place to go out for a meal.
